3G Router Store was founded to solve a very practical problem: reliable internet where fixed lines fail. Long before 4G and 5G became mainstream, we were supplying cellular routers to businesses, installers, and engineers who needed dependable connectivity in places where broadband simply was not an option.

From the outset, our focus has been clear. We specialise in industrial and professional-grade cellular networking, not consumer gadgets. That philosophy still defines everything we do today.

Our history: from 3G to 5G and beyond

When 3G Router Store first launched, 3G cellular connectivity was the most viable option for remote sites, temporary installations, and business continuity links. We built our reputation supplying purpose-built routers, external antennas, and SIM solutions that actually worked in the field.

As networks evolved, so did we.

On 1st March 2026, 3G Router Store will officially rebrand as The Router Store, operating under routerstore.com.
