Product Overview & Mounting Options for Vehicle Use

The Panorama BAT[X]M4-6-60[-X] series is a high-performance internal antenna designed for discreet installation inside vehicles or buildings. It offers powerful 4x4 MiMo 4G/5G connectivity, with optional GPS/GNSS and WiFi 6E/7 support, making it ideal for mobile broadband, fleet, and tracking applications.

Intended Use in Vehicles

• Optimised for dashboard installation – designed to be fitted on or under a vehicle dashboard, as far forward as possible, to ensure the best signal and GPS view to the sky.
• Non-conductive panel mounting – suitable for mounting on plastic trim, headliners, or other interior non-metallic surfaces.
• GPS/GNSS versions should be installed flat, with the bevelled side facing up towards the sky.

Mounting Options

You can install this antenna in three convenient ways:

1. Adhesive Pad (Permanent)

• Ideal for clean, flat dashboards or panels.
• Ensure surfaces are grease-free before applying.
• Works best at room temperatures (10–37°C).
• Use when a quick and tool-free installation is preferred.

2. Screw Mounting (Permanent)

• For more secure, long-term installation on non-metallic surfaces (e.g. internal wall panels).
• Particularly recommended for building installations.
• Use screws (up to 5.5mm) into drywall or internal cladding (not foil-backed).

3. Suction Cups (Temporary)

• Perfect for temporary or test installations on smooth surfaces such as glass.
• Suits vertical mounting on windows for GPS testing (bevelled face towards sky).
• Easy to remove and reposition.

Additional Installation Tips

• Keep the antenna at least 10cm from metal surfaces and away from vehicle ECUs.
• Secure cables with clips or ties, avoiding tight bends (min radius 25mm).
• Do not route cables near airbags or moving parts.
