The Proroute H820 4G router is the big brother of the popular Proroute H685 M2M 4G Router. The H820 uses the same high speed Sierra Wireless 4G module and also includes all the same features as the H685 router but is supplied in a larger, industreial grade metal casing which enables the provision of 4 x 10/100 Ethernet ports and 1 x WAN port.

Which 4G Router is best suited for your application?
The majority of routers that we sell are Industrial Grade 4G Routers designed for M2M (Machine To Machine) applications where the emphasis is on maintaining the 3G/4G connetion rather than download and upload speeds that are the main purchasing criteria for office and home users.
For M2M applications the majority of 4G routers have very similar features, but some may be more compact than others, or may have serial interfaces or digital IO interfaces so your choice of M2M 4G Router will dpend upon several things.
Do you need a bonded 4G router solution?
In many cases, where users want to take advantage of the higher download and upload speeds provided by 4G mobile broadband data connectivity there are very few options that provide the speed and more importantly, consistent performace for applications such as VoIP and Unified Communications.
We offer a fully managed bonded 4G solution which can take any 3 Internet connections and deliver reliable 4G Internet with empasis on network response times so applications such as VoIP and Unified Communications can run over these 4G services without the problems of network responses dropping to very poor levels during peak network usage times.
In fact, out managed Internet solution can work with any three internet services, so you could maybe start with two 4G routers and then add a wired service when it cbecomes available and have the 4G services as a backup to the wired connection. All this will a single IP address that stays the same no-matter which internet connection it uses.
